CALL FOR INTEREST, PAPER, AND PARTICIPATION
You are cordially invited to attend this exciting and informative event Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIMEC), either as a speaker or as an observer. Proposals for papers, providing an initial title and one-page abstract (250 – 300 words) should be submitted by 28 October 2022 at imc2023@bahria.edu.pk. A brief profile or bio of the author(s) should also be attached. Please contact the Conference organizers for further information and details on administrative arrangements.
IMPORTANT DATES
PAPER SUBMISSION
After acceptance of abstracts, speakers are requested to submit papers by 15 January 2023. Papers must be in English; not exceeding 15 pages including tables and graphics; page size “A4 or Letter” and 12-font size. Papers will be selected based upon their originality, relevance, significance, clarity and timeliness.
PRESENTATIONS
Each presentation would be of 20 minutes. PowerPoint and other audio/visual support will be available if required.
CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The Conference’s working language is English, which will be used for all printed material, presentations, and discussions. Please note that no translation service will be provided at the Conference.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
The Conference proceedings will be published in the form of a book and a DVD. For general information of participants, a booklet containing abstracts of papers will be made available to all delegates before the start of the Conference.
Moreover, selected papers from the Conference will be published in the research journal, Polaris Journal of Maritime Affairs (PJMR) of National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA).
